Country house hotel with starred restaurant and spa
De Bloemenbeek
Two chefs with over half a century in this kitchen between them.

From our diary
Dining and staying at De Bloemenbeek
Almost forty years. That's how long Michel van Riswijk has been in this kitchen, with Vincent Goris alongside him for more than fifteen. You don't come across that kind of loyalty often, and we value it. Van Riswijk holds the SVH Master Chef title. Together they cook French-Mediterranean food, with herbs from their own garden and greenhouse and produce from local growers and hunters. According to the house itself, nobody in Twente has held a Michelin star for longer.
De Bloemenbeek is a big place, though, with 58 rooms and suites and its own spa. That makes it less cosy than an inn with a handful of rooms, but it also gives you room to breathe: an afternoon in the spa, dinner, a morning with no rush. If you prefer somewhere the chef opens the door himself, look elsewhere. If you like a house where everything is taken care of, De Lutte will suit you.
Good to know
With 58 rooms and a spa this is more hotel than inn, so expect more fellow guests than at the smaller places.
