Where we dine and sleep in Utrecht
Country houses along the Vecht, estates on the Utrecht Hill Ridge and a monastery in the heart of the city. In Utrecht a starred dinner with a bed upstairs is never far from home.
In Utrecht the book holds three addresses for now. When we come across more that belong here, they go in. If we had to pick one, it would be De Nederlanden. If you are coming for a star, try De Nederlanden, Parc Broekhuizen and Grand Hotel Karel V. The next place is still empty: that is the address we are trying next.

A monastery founded in 1348, a private garden in the middle of town and dinner in the medieval refectory. We come here when we want the city without spending the whole evening out in it.
